IDEA Launch Labs - Build It, Break It, Fix It

You do not need a finished product to test an idea. In this Lab, IDEA faculty and mentors will help
you identify what you need to learn and choose an appropriate way to prototype and test your idea.

Depending on your project, that might be a physical model, sketch, CAD design, wireframe,
clickable mock-up, simulation, storyboard, service model, or simple MVP. You will focus on one
key question: What is the smallest thing you can create that will help you learn whether your idea
works?

Bring an idea, even if it is still rough.
Takeaway - Leave with a practical plan for what to prototype, what to test, and what you need to
learn next.

Rutgers faculty and IDEA may nominate promising student teams or individuals to participate in IDEA Launch Labs. Students may also self-nominate.
