IDEA Launch Labs - Money Moves

Every big idea needs resources. In this Lab, IDEA faculty and mentors will help you think through
the financial side of bringing an idea to life, including costs, revenue, grants, bootstrapping,
investors, and other funding pathways.

If you are just starting out, you will learn the basics of how different kinds of innovations are
supported and funded. If your project is further along, you will begin examining what it could take
to make your solution financially sustainable in a nonprofit, social-impact, or for-profit setting.

Takeaway - Leave with a clearer picture of what your idea may cost, how it could be supported, and
what financial questions you need to answer next.

Rutgers faculty and IDEA may nominate promising student teams or individuals to participate in IDEA Launch Labs. Students may also self-nominate.
